We are sad to report that our long-time friend and IAPL member Professor Toby Martin (Spelman College, Atlanta, GA, USA) died recently at the age of 60. Toby participated in IAPL 2001 (held at Spelman College) and many conferences since, including IAPL 2011 in Taiwan. Toby was a sculptor for whom the spiritual played an important role in his life and work. He will be dearly missed.
