  • Use this online form to submit a brief description (maximum 50 words) and a full precis (maximum 750 words) of the Proposed Session. All submissions are to be in English.
  • Be sure to include in your full description: (1) session title, (2) session chair, (3) participants and their paper titles, (4) 750-word precis, and (5) 7 keywords for the session.
  • Proposed Sessions should relate explicitly to the conference topic: GLOBAL ARTS / LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
  • The Proposer should serve as Session Chair. The Proposer can also present the first paper in the session. In this case, there must be at least three other speakers. If the Proposer wishes to present a paper, a separate abstract for the introductory paper should be submitted as well.
  • Submit all session details no later than announced submission deadline.
  • Approximately twenty General and Proposed Sessions will be created from submissions.
  • Be sure to submit a separate Abstract Form for each participant/speaker in your Proposed Session:

 

Submission conditions:
  • Only one submission per person.
  • No one can be on the Conference Program more than once in a given year.
  • Each submission (proposed session and each abstract) will be evaluated separately by the IAPL executive committee.
  • Each person submitting an abstract for a paper or session to be presented at IAPL must be a currently paid member of IAPL. Dues year begins January 1st each year. Click here to pay IAPL Membership Dues for the current year.
  • All participants to be listed on the upcoming IAPL Program must be currently paid members for the conference year.
  • All sessions and papers must relate explicitly to the announced conference topic.
  • All presenters will be asked to submit at the time of the conference a hard copy and an electronic copy of the paper for consideration in the upcoming volume resulting from the conference.
