The
Department of Philosophy provides
services such as mailing, telephone, photocopying, and
technical support.
Both
the Philosophy Department with its famed emphasis in Continental
Philosophy and the Graduate
Program in Comparative Literature in the Department of
Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies provide a context
for the commitment and involvement of many of its present
and former graduate students in IAPL.
We
are grateful to James Staros, Dean of the College of Arts
and Sciences, and
to Professor Robert Crease, Chair, Department of Philosophy,
for generously committing resources to support the work of
IAPL.
Thanks
also to the Stony Brook Philosophy Department Staff (Alissa
Betz, Assistant to the Chair, and Ann-Marie Monahan, Department Secretary)
for their valuable assistance.
