DORINT NOVOTEL AM KONZERTHAUS****

• The Dorint Novotel am Konzerthaus - Freiburg is a 4-Star-Hotel situated next to the Concert Hall and opposite the main Train Station.
• The Dorint is located in close proximity to the City Centre, and the Freiburger Münster-- and only few minutes walk to the university buildings where the main conference sites are located.
• The hotel is about 60 km from the international Mulhouse-Basel airport. The Strasbourg airport is also within close proximity. The Zurich airport is about one and a half hours away by car. The Frankfurt airport is at least three hours by car or train.
• The Dorint Novotel includes:
  • a Lobby -- with its Scotch Corner Bar
  • the "La Rotonde" Restaurant -- with its Palm Garden Terrasse
  • a wonderful Reception space where the opening evening welcome event (5 June 2006) will take place
  • a Swimming Pool, a Sauna, and a "Beauty-Kosmetik and Wellness" for hotel guests.

1. Conference participants should plan to lodge at the Dorint Novotel for the duration of the conference.
2. The welcoming reception for registered conference participants will take place on Monday evening at the hotel.
3. Transportation will be provided from the hotel for each day that events will be held in Strasbourg (France) and Basel (Switzerland).
4. Most sessions all week will take place at the University of Freiburg and other locations in the city of Freiburg (Germany) -- a three minute walk from the hotel!
5. We have negotiated excellent rates, which include a full breakfast and all taxes.
6. If funds are low, you can stay in a double room and share with a colleague. If you don't know anyone, you can write to execdir@iapl.info and we will add you to a list of those seeking to share a room. You should reserve a double room and we will put you in contact with someone else with the same requirements seeking to share. This will be less expensive than trying to stay elsewhere.
