GS = General Session [ Paper proposals submitted and selected by the IAPL Executive Committee and organized by the Executive Committee into Topical Sessions.]

PS =  Proposed Sessions    [Panels with Organizer and Chair proposed, evaluated, and selected by the IAPL Executive Committee.]

IS = Invited Symposia [Special Symposia organized and invited by well-known scholars in the field of specialty, listed as Organizer.]

OS = Organized Sessions [Sessions to which potential participants have offered papers to the Session Organizer and selected by the Session Organizer]

SP = Special Panels [invited and organized by members of the IAPL Executive Committee

CE = Close Encounters [Concentrated sessions devoted to a major figure related to the topic of the conference.] CE Organizers receive proposals and select those most suitable for the session.]

IAPL INVITED SPEAKER = Major figure in the topic of the conference, invited by IAPL to speak at the conference. No concurrent sessions.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER = Major figure in the topic of the conference. No concurrent sessions.

PLENARY SESSION = Special topic organized by IAPL for the occasion of this annual conference. No concurrent sessions.

END-DEBATE = Special finale Debate/ Round Table organized by the conference coordinator. No concurrent sessions.
